Je réaffirme que au cours de cet atelier nous allons faire un travail d’identification des problèmes d’insécurité notamment au niveau de nos trois arrondissements communaux d’intervention à savoir l’arrondissement communal Niamey II ,Niamey IV et V.Ca va nous permettre de recenser tous les problèmes sécuritaire et faire des propositions à travers le plan d’action des acteurs locaux pour la paix et la sécurité ,des activités qui vont nous permettre de verser la tendance » souligne Sanoussi Mahamane, Chef du projet SOS Civisme.
Cette rencontre regroupe tous les acteurs locaux qui luttent pour la paix et la sécurité. Pour le représentant du projet National Democratic Institue (NDI), Dovi Koumedjina, trois objectifs sous-tendent cette assise, à savoir aider les communautés des régions bénéficières à améliorer leurs responsabilités sociales, renforcer la capacité des jeunes à s’intégrer de manière concrète et constructive dans le développement de leur communauté, renforcer les relations entre les citoyens et les services de sécurité pour instaurer la confiance et améliorer leur communication « Le NDI voudrais à travers ce programme appuyer techniquement les acteurs locaux à leur responsabilisation et à contribuer à la mise en œuvre d’un reforme prise par le gouvernement du Niger dans le cadre de la décentralisation avec le transfert des compétences et des ressources aux collectivités territoriales comme dans quatre secteurs clés à savoir la santé, l’éducation ,l’hydraulique et de l’environnement .Ces reformes interviennent dans ce contexte sécuritaire préoccupant » a-t-il indiqué.
Cet atelier a été initié par le projet SOS civisme pour la mise en application de son deuxième axe d’intervention de culture de paix qui vise à contribuer pour la stabilité et la sécurité au Niger et dans la sous-région sahélienne à travers le dialogue (intra et interreligieux, intercommunautaire, intercommunal, social et politique).
