Le président du Conseil National pour la Sauvegarde de la Patrie (CNSP), Chef de l’Etat, le général de Brigade Abdourahmane Tiani a reçu, en début de matinée de ce samedi 10 Août 2024 à son cabinet, le président de la Fédération Camerounaise de Football (FECAFOOT), Samuel Eto’o.
Le président de la Fédération Camerounaise de Football (FECAFOOT) séjourne au Niger dans le cadre des Awards de la Fédération Nigérienne de Football (FNIFOOT) connus sous le nom de Mena d’or.
A sa sortie d’audience, le président de la FECAFOOT a exprimé ses remerciements et sa gratitude à l’endroit du Chef de l’Etat Nigérien pour l’entretien accordé ainsi que les conseils reçus.
« Nous essayons de tout faire pour continuer à travailler dans la promotion du football et de tout faire pour que le football africain, que nous voulons voir, soit respecté partout », a-t-il dit.
S’exprimant sur le football au niveau du Cameroun, M. Samuel Eto’o a souligné que malgré qu’il n’est pas toujours facile, ils vont continuer à travailler pour faire rayonner le football camerounais et au passage le football africain.
Appréciant la gestion du football nigérien, Samuel Eto’o s’est dit fier du travail abattu par le président de la FENIFOOT, le Colonel – Major Djibrilla Hima dit pélé présent à ses côtés.
« Si nous nous sommes lancés sur la gestion du football, c’est parce que ces ainés faisaient déjà un très bon boulot et ils continuent de faire ce boulot », a-t-il révélé tout en rassurant de son accompagnement pour le Niger.
L’audience s’est déroulée en présence des membres du Conseil National pour la sauvegarde de la patrie (CNSP), note-t-on.
