Le bilan des actions du Conseil National pour la Sauvegarde de la Patrie (CNSP) a été présenté à la population le samedi 10 Août dernier. C’était un exercice très attendu même si, à travers les interventions du chef de l’état au lendemain de la célébration du premier anniversaire de l’accession au pouvoir du Conseil National pour la Sauvegarde de la Patrie (CNSP) et à l’occasion du 03 Août, on en avait déjà eu quelques aperçus. La présentation du Premier Ministre Lamine Zeine a tout de même été plus détaillée et plus explicite.
Au cours de cet exposé du Chef du Gouvernement Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine, l’accent a été particulièrement mis sur la résilience du pays à tenir malgré les sanctions de la CEDEAO. Le Niger a réussi à tenir « debout en assurant l’accomplissement de ses missions régaliennes », assure le Premier Ministre qui explique que le pays a pu maintenir son fonctionnement sans aide extérieure dans plusieurs domaines. Il s’agit notamment de la sécurité, l’approvisionnement du pays en produits essentiels, le paiement des salaires, le paiement des bourses et allocations d’étude. Cet exploit, en dépit des sanctions de la CEDEAO ayant eu de graves conséquences économiques, s’explique par une volonté de l’actuelle équipe dirigeante d’œuvrer pour une autonomie complète pour le pays. « Nous avons compris qu’un peuple digne doit d’abord compter sur ses propres forces pour mériter respect et considération. » explique le Premier Ministre.
Néanmoins, cette résilience a tout de même été renforcée par le soutien de plusieurs pays « amis et frères », dont le Togo. La création de la Confédération de l’Alliance des États du Sahel (AES) début juillet par le Mali, le Burkina-Faso et le Niger, a également été mentionné comme une alliance porteuse de grands espoirs pour les efforts de souveraineté enclenchés depuis la prise de pouvoir du CNSP.
Abordant le départ des troupes françaises du territoire nigérien, Lamine Zeine a salué l’armée nigérienne qui a réussi à obtenir ce départ « sans qu’un seul coup de feu ne soit tiré ». Ce départ, pour le Premier Ministre a été un « moment de gloire ».
En termes de perspectives, les relations avec les institutions internationales sont entrain d’être renouées sur de nouvelles bases, avec pour priorités, les intérêts et les urgences du Niger. Avec la Banque Mondiale, un partenaire Technique et Financier important, un accord de financement d’un montant de « 4 milliards de dollars US » a été conclu pour divers projets dans de nombreux secteurs.
Arguant de ce que le Niger bénéficie désormais d’une « bonne considération sur le plan international », le Premier Ministre Lamine Zeine a conclu sa présentation en appelant les nigériens à s’unir pour participer à la réalisation de la vision du Président Abdourahamane Tiani, pour un Niger en paix et prospère.
