Le président de la république Issoufou Mahamadou a visité en début de matinée de ce mercredi 10 juillet, à l’Hôtel présidentiel Radisson de Niamey, le Forum innovation pour le développement (i4DEV), qui se tient à Niamey en marge du sommet de l’Union Africaine du 04 au 10 juillet.
L’objectif du Forum, est de réunir les acteurs majeurs intéressés par le développement, l’entrepreneuriat et les sciences afin de favoriser l’innovation en matière sociopolitique et contribuer au renforcement de l’écosystème entrepreneurial en connectant ses différents acteurs à travers l’organisation d’activités d’exception.
Après avoir procédé à la coupure du ruban, le Chef de l’état a visité les Stands d’expositions où il a reçu d’amples explications de part des exposants et a par la suite visité les salles de conférences.
A l’issue de la visite le chef de l’Etat Issoufou Mahamadou a rappelé qu’ils ont un programme ambitieux en matière de développement du numérique dans le pays, que la révolution numérique ne doit pays laisser notre pays en marge et souhaite que les populations qui vivent dans les milieux les plus reculés profitent de cette révolution numérique.
C’est pour cela, a-t-il poursuivi, ‘’que nous avons un programme dit de programme de villages intelligents et au niveau des différentes plates formes que je viens de visiter j’ai constaté qu’il ya beaucoup d’applications qui vont servir le développement, qui vont servir le monde rural’’.
Le président Issoufou d’indiquer que dans le domaine de la santé il ya des operateurs de santé digitales près de 4000 operateurs de santé digitales vont être mis en place pour couvrir l’ensemble des villages du Niger.
‘’Il ya des applications dans le domaine de l’éducation, des applications dans le domaine de l’agriculture’’, a –t-il énuméré.
Le Chef de l’Etat Issoufou Mahamadou s’est dit impressionné par la capacité de création de notre jeunesse, ‘’je profite de l’occasion pour les encourager à poursuivre les efforts qu’ils sont entrain de faire pour que le numérique profite au développement du Niger en ville comme en campagne ‘’, a-t-il conclu.
Les activités du forum comprennent des expositions, des compétitions et des conférences.
I4DEV est un forum organisé par trois acteurs engagés en faveur de l’innovation et du développement en Afrique, l’Agence Nationale pour la Société de l’information (ANSI), le Centre Incubateur des Petites et Moyennes Entreprises (CIPMEN ) et Next Einstein Forum.
