Ce dimanche 28 juillet, lors d’un point de presse du nouveau président, des militants du parti venus empêcher la conférence ont été dispersés par la police.
La crise a atteint son paroxysme, ce dimanche après-midi, lorsque les députés du parti Lumana Fa ont apporté leur soutien à leur leader Hama Amadou déchu. Quelques heures auparavant, des militants ont tenté d’empêcher une conférence de presse du président intérimaire Noma Oumarou.
« Le matin, il y a eu une décision de justice qui me confirme intérimaire. Le soir, ils prennent une décision pour désigner un autre intérimaire », a déclaré Noma Oumarou.
Certains voient à travers cette crise la main du pouvoir en place. Pour Soumana Sanda, le vice-président n’a plus de qualité à agir au nom du parti Lumana Fa.
« Il est donc dans une entreprise solitaire. Il a organisé un point de presse. Il était seul. Là, vraiment, c’est juste pour honorer le contrat qu’il a pris avec le pouvoir. C’est pourquoi il agit ainsi », estime-t-il.
Noma Oumarou s’est défendu pendant près de trente minutes lors de sa conférence de presse. Pendant près d’une décennie, a-t-il indiqué, il a servi Hama Amadou et le parti.
« Cela fait près de six ans que je suis à la direction du parti en tant que président intérimaire. J’ai fait près de deux ans en tant que président provisoire. Huit ans. Ce n’est pas que je suis contre Hama. Non. J’ai donné ma vie pour lui », a ajouté Noma Oumaro lors de sa conférence de presse.
