Des partis politiques, membres de l’opposition politique nigérienne regroupés au sein du Front Patriotique(FP) et du Front pour la Restauration de la Démocratie et la Défense de la République (FRDDR) ont annoncé à travers une déclaration rendue publique ce mercredi 23 Décembre, leur intention de boycotter la prochaine réunion du Cadre National du Dialogue Politique (CNDP), prévue le jeudi 24 janvier.
Cette sortie médiatique de l’opposition nigérienne, fait suite à la convocation par le Président du Cadre National du Dialogue Politique(CNDP), d’une session extraordinaire en vue de l’examen et adoption des résultats des travaux du comité Ad hoc. Seront également à l’ordre du jour, la révision du code électoral, l’adoption du règlement intérieur du CNDP et des informations sur le processus électoral.
Une réunion que l’opposition qualifie d’une manœuvre de plus du pouvoir en place. Elle l’accuse de vouloir jouer un jeu trouble dans le seul but d’opérer un hold-up électoral lors des élections générales prévues pour 2021. Car, poursuit-elle, les points de divergences sont énormes et ne sont pas tous pris en compte dans le cadre du CNDP. En conséquence, l’opposition annonce son intention de boycotter ladite réunion.
Par ailleurs, les partis regroupés au sein du FP et du FRDDR, exigent l’organisation d’un dialogue inclusif en présence des témoins nationaux et internationaux ; la mise en place d’un dispositif de suivi des décisions dudit dialogue avec l’accompagnement des partenaires en vue d’en assurer l’effectivité ; l’adoption d’un code électoral consensuel ; la réhabilitation effective du CNDP comme organe d’échange et de consensus de la classe politique. Ce sont selon elle, les seuls gages de la reprise du dialogue.
L’opposition politique nigérienne qui entend mener des actions dans les jours à venir, a appelé les nigériens, acteurs sociaux et politiques à faire échec à ce qu’elle qualifie de projet funeste de confiscation du suffrage du peuple souverain.
