Annoncé par décret présidentielles le 08 février dernier, les assises nationales devraient se tenir au Centre International de Conférences Mahatma Gandhi de Niamey. A prélude de cet événement, une rencontre s’est tenue dans l’après-midi de ce mercredi 12 février 2024 entre le Comité national en charge de la préparation de ces assises et les différents présidents des sous commissions composant lesdites assises.
Cette rencontre a été l’occasion de faire l’état de l’avancement des travaux entrant dans le cadre de ces assises. Ainsi, cette séance de travail a permis aux participants de mettre en place un comité en charge de l’organisation des assises, d’assurer la préparation technique et matérielle, mais aussi de faire la synthèse des contributions des régions et de la diaspora à la bonne tenue des trois jours d’échanges.
Le communiqué final rendu public à la fin de cette rencontre indique que « tous les représentants des régions ont été désignés et la liste est transmise au comité chargé de l’organisation des assises ». Concernant la participation des membres de la diaspora, les dispositions sont déjà prises pour favoriser la présence effective des quatre participants aux assises. « les plans des vols ainsi que les réservations sont déjà réglés » apprend-on. De même, les contributions issues des différentes régions ont été analysées et prises en compte.
En conclusion, les préparatifs sont donc en bonne voie pour une bonne tenue des assises nationales. Les conclusions issues des discussions tenues au cours de ces assises permettront une refondation complète du Niger et orienteront les actions de la transition en cours actuellement.
