Le vendredi 9 janvier 2021, les étudiants nigériens à l’Université de Zinder se sont exprimés lors d’un point de presse, sur la situation sociopolitique nationale et internationale ainsi que sur la situation interne de cette organisation.

Suite aux attaques lâches et abominables qui ont été signalées dans les villages de Tchombangou, Zaroumadarèye, et Toumour, le comité exécutif déplore amèrement « l’accroissement des attaques terroristes sur le territoire nigérien et interpelle le gouvernement pour sa nonchalance face à la détérioration du système sécuritaire exposant des milliers de nigériens à la merci des malfaiteurs ».
Outre cette situation malheureuse, le Comité exécutif de l’UENUZ a dans sa déclaration indiqué qu’il s’inquiète de « la recrudescence de la Covid-19 à travers le monde faisant près de deux Millions de victimes dont plus de trois mille cas au Niger avec 119 décès ».
