La ville de Niamey accueille depuis 11 ans le Salon International de l’Artisanat pour la Femme (SAFEM). L’objectif de cette initiative parrainée par la première dame Hajia Aïssata Issoufou est de contribuer au développement économique et social de la femme. En apothéose de cette 11e édition placée sous le thème : « Artisanat et Entreprenariat des femmes : solutions innovantes pour l’emploi et le développement durable », une soirée de gala a été organisée le samedi 07 décembre à l’hôtel Gaweye de Niamey.
Cette soirée a été marquée par la distribution des prix aux différents lauréats. En prenant la parole, le Ministre du Tourisme et de l’Artisanat, M. Ahmet Botto a tenue à reprocher aux différents lauréats de faire bon usage des récompenses qu’ils recevront et de se persévérer dans l’innovation et la créativité car « l’objectif de SAFEM c’est surtout d’encourager particulièrement les femmes artisanes à développer l’esprit de partenariat parce que notre artisanat en a besoin » a-t-il souligné.
Cette soirée de récompense a mis le sourire aux lèvres à plusieurs exposants venus des différents pays d’Afrique comme l’atteste Mme Rania Ramani, représentante de la délégation algérienne qui a remporté le « Prix Spécial en Cosmétique « je voudrais remercier en premier lieu l’Etat nigérien pour cet accueil chaleureux, ensuite la première dame Hajia Aissata Issoufou pour l’importance qu’elle donne aux femmes et à l’artisanat féminin. Nous sommes très heureux et espérons participer à la prochaine édition » a-t-elle déclaré.
La soirée a été aminée par un groupe de la musique traditionnelle touareg tandé, de l’algayta et des peuls bororo. C’était en présence de l’Ambassadeur du Sénégal au Niger, Mme Fatima D.Sidikou, de la Ministre de la promotion de la femme et de la protection de l’enfant, Mme Elback Zeinabou Tari Bako, de la Première dame Hajia Aissata Issoufou, marraine du SAFEM, Directrice Générale du SAFEM, Mme Amadou Mairomeya, et plusieurs invités de marques.
