Le Conseil des ministres du vendredi 18 octobre a adopté le Projet de décret portant transfert à ZAMANI COM S.A.S de la licence globale pour l’établissement et l’exploitation de réseaux ouverts au public et la fourniture au public de services de télécommunications au Niger, accordée à ORANGE NIGER S.A.
La filiale nigérienne de la société française est titulaire d’une licence globale pour l’établissement et l’exploitation de réseaux ouverts au public et la fourniture au public de services de télécommunications au Niger.
La Société ZAMANI COM S.A.S a introduit une demande pour l’acquisition de la totalité des actions d’ORANGE NIGER S.A.
Conformément à la réglementation en vigueur, cette transaction nécessite le transfert de la licence à ZAMANI COM S.A.S et par conséquent a fait l’objet d’une notification préalable à l’Autorité de Régulation des Communications Electroniques et de la Poste (ARCEP) pour examen, selon le communiqué gouvernemental .
Aux termes de l’analyse technique du projet de transaction effectuée par l’Autorité de Régulation, il s’avère que ZAMANI COM S.A.S, remplit toutes les conditions réglementaires, notamment celles relatives à ses capacités
professionnelles, techniques et financières à satisfaire les obligations inscrites au cahier des charges annexé à la licence, indique-t-on.
