La Commission Electorale Nationale Indépendante (CENI), a, conformément au Code électoral démarré les dépouillements des bulletins de vote dès la fermeture des bureaux, dimanche en fin de journée. Les résultats provisoires de ce second tour de la Présidentielle sont aussi proclamés et se poursuivent depuis le QG de la Commission installé au Palais des Congrès de Niamey.
A la date du lundi 22 février 2021, les résultats globaux provisoires de 38 communes sur les 266 sont proclamés par la Commission Electorale Nationale Indépendante (CENI). Sur un nombre d’inscrits de 7 446 556, ont voté 360 706 inscrits. Avec un nombre total de votants de 368 557, on décompte 15 043 bulletins blancs ou nuls, et 353 514 suffrages exprimés valables sur un taux de participation de 4.95 % et un taux d’abstention 95.05 %
Selon les résultats annoncés par la CENI, Mohamed Bazoum, candidat du PNDS – TARRAYA se positionne en tête avec 191 554 voix tandis que son adversaire Mahamane Ousmane, candidat RDR – TCHANJI obtient 161 960 voix.
Mais ce n’est que 13% des communes, la victoire n’est pas encore déclarée pour l’un ou pour l’autre candidat
