La pose de la 1ère pierre de l’Ecole de Comédie et des Arts (ECA) de l’humoriste nigérien Mamane a été effectuée ce mercredi 16 mars 2021 à Niamey, au quartier Saguiya. A cette occasion, l’artiste a été porté au rang de Chevalier de l’Ordre et du mérite du Niger. Cette école de comédie pour les métiers du spectacle au Niger est la première du continent africain.
Cette initiative de l’artiste humoriste nigérien Mohamed Mouctari Moustapha Tahi, communément connu sous le nom de « Mamane, Le Gondwanais », tient sa source du constat selon lequel les artistes du continent sont extrêmement talentueux mais ont besoin d’un renforcement de capacité surtout sur l’art et certains contours des métiers artistiques et culturels
Il a déclaré avoir eu l’idée de création de ce centre d’apprentissage dédié aux futurs humoristes africains depuis longtemps. Elle a pris forme avec les contacts qui ont eu lieu avec certains humoristes africains de renom dans le cadre de la réalisation du « Parlement du rire » et du « Festival de l’humour », deux grands événements consacrés à l’humour et à la comédie.
« Seulement, le constat qui se dégage est qu’il faut de la formation pour faire de l’humour, car l’humoriste est appelé à traiter des situations d’un pays, tout en respectant le public » a-t-il indiqué.
Par le passé, Mamane a annoncé que l’Etat du Niger a promis de l’accompagner dans la concrétisation de ce projet. Ce centre sera selon lui sera opérationnel dans les meilleurs délais. L’humoriste et chroniqueur de la Radio France Internationale avait aussi eu l’occasion d’échanger de tous les contours de son projet avec le président nigérien Issoufou Mahamadou qui l’avait reçu en audience.
L’auteur, acteur, réalisateur et maintenant entrepreneur, espère créer plus d’opportunités d’emploi à travers cette démarche. C’est pour « Donner de l’espoir à ces jeunes, leur dire que nous pouvons créer des emplois ici en Afrique, donc rester chez nous et laisser ce genre d’initiative se multiplier ». Il estime que le projet pourrait voir le jour dans deux ou trois and.
Mamane espère que cette école offrira un débouché aux jeunes de la région sahélienne qui luttent contre le terrorisme et émigrent en Europe.
