Quelque 84% des Maliens trouvent que la situation générale du pays s’est améliorée au cours des douze derniers mois, selon les
résultats de la 13è enquête d’opinion intitulée ‘Mali Mètre’ de la Fondation Friedrich Ebert Stiftung rendus publics jeudi à Bamako.
Durant la même période, 8% des personnes sondées estiment que la situation du Mali s’est plutôt détériorée. Le même nombre de Maliens pense que la situation est restée au même niveau, indiquent ces résultats.
Cette enquête d’opinion politique est menée au Mali depuis fin 2012. Elle a recueilli les opinions des Maliens sur différentes questions marquantes de l’actualité ou décisives pour le présent et le futur du pays.
Selon Christian Klatt, qui a présenté les conclusions du sondage, la proportion de personnes estimant que la situation générale du pays s’est améliorée a augmenté de 50% par rapport à 2021 et de 58% en comparaison à 2017. Toutefois, a-t-il précisé, elle est de 20% en deçà des statistiques se situant entre 2019 et 2021.
Outre l’évolution de la situation générale du pays, le sondage d’opinion a interrogé les défis auxquels le Mali est confronté actuellement. En la matière, 76% des sondés se sont dit préoccupés par la lutte contre l’insécurité. Si la lutte contre l’insécurité alimentaire inquiète 48% des songés, celle contre le chômage des jeunes est un défi majeur pour 41% de personnes interrogées. La lutte contre la pauvreté focalise l’attention de 40% d’entre eux.
Ces préoccupations restent presque les mêmes que celles soulevées lors des cinq dernières années, a noté le présentateur du rapport d’enquête. Les principaux défis et priorités du Mali évoquées à l’occasion étaient entre autres, la lutte contre l’insécurité, le chômage des jeunes, la lutte contre l’insécurité alimentaire, la pauvreté ainsi que l’amélioration du système éducatif.
Concernant la gestion de la Transition, a exposé Christian Klatt, plus de neuf personnes sur dix sont satisfaites, dont 67% très satisfaits et 28% plutôt satisfaits de la gestion de la Transition. Parmi les autorités de la Transition, le président de la Transition est la personnalité en qui les personnes enquêtées ont le plus confiance avec un taux de 72%.
Par rapport aux partenaires internationaux, les principales attentes des Maliens sont : la lutte contre l’insécurité (75%), la lutte contre l’insécurité alimentaire (42%), la lutte contre le chômage des jeunes (39%) et la lutte contre la pauvreté (36%). Plus de la moitié des enquêtés estiment que les conflits inter et intracommunautaires sont inexistants, note le document.
L’enquête s’est également intéressée aux principales sources d’information des Maliens sur l’actualité. À ce niveau, Il a été constaté que 38% des Maliens s’informent à travers la radio, 27% par la télévision, 11% sur Facebook, 8% sur les sites internet et 8% par le bouche à oreille.
Cette enquête a été menée auprès de 2.344 personnes âgées de 18 ans ou plus se trouvant dans les capitales régionales et le District de Bamako du 13 mars au 4 avril 2022. La taille de l’échantillon a été fixée suivant la formule d’estimation d’une proportion. Sa taille finale a tenu compte de deux autres aspects : ajustement des régions à faible poids et anticipation de la non réponse.
Le tirage de l’échantillon a été fait de sorte à assurer la représentativité de la population vis-à-vis de sa structure démographique. Comme technique de collecte, les enquêteurs ont utilisé la méthode des quotas avec des catégories comme le sexe, l’âge et le niveau d’instruction. Le plan d’échantillonnage adopté garantit une représentativité égalitaire entre les deux sexes (50% de l’échantillon enquêté sont des femmes).
