Dans une déclaration commune en date du 22 janvier 2025, onze partis politiques maliens exigent la fin de la transition militaire installée depuis le coup d’état de Août 2020. Les partis signataires de cette déclaration au nombre desquels figurent les plus anciens partis politiques du pays à l’instar de l’Alliance pour la Démocratie au Mali-Parti Africain pour la Solidarité et la Justice ADEMAS-PASJ, le Parti pour la Renaissance Nationale PARENA ou encore le M5-RFP Mali Koura interpellent les autorités en place sur l’importance de clarifier la question liée à la durée de la transition mais aussi sur l’urgence de fixer un agenda clair pour un retour à l’ordre constitutionnel.
Ces demandes, explique la déclaration, se justifient par l’absence dans le discours à la nation du chef de l’Etat le 31 décembre dernier « de toute référence à l’organisation des élections et singulièrement, celle devant mettre fin à la période transitoire » en cours depuis déjà 05 ans. De même, les nombreux reports de la fin de ladite transition ont été évoqué par la coalition qui estime que « le peuple est délibérément maintenu dans le flou » ; ce qui, dénote une « absence criarde de perspectives et qui annonce des lendemains incertains » pour le Mali.
Face à cette situation, les signataires de ladite déclaration ont émis des revendications majeures portant notamment sur l’organisation d’un « cadre de concertation entre le gouvernement et la classe politique pour débattre de la question du retour à l’ordre constitutionnel », la fixation d’un « chronogramme détaillé et précis vers les élections avant la fin du premier trimestre 2025 », la conduite des tâches liées au processus de retour à l’ordre constitutionnel et le respect des liberté démocratiques, de l’état de droit, la libération des prisonniers enfermés pour délit d’opinions, le retour des exilés politiques et l’arrêt des arrestations arbitraires et des disparitions forcées.
Déterminés, l’ensemble des parties signataires de cette déclaration s’engagent « à utiliser tous les moyens légaux pour obtenir un retour à l’ordre constitutionnel », estimant qu’il s’agit là d’une étape « essentielle » à la restauration et au renforcement de l’état de droit au Mali.
Pour l’heure, le gouvernement n’a pas officiellement réagi à cette déclaration.
