Deux (2) réseaux de malfrats spécialisés, l’un dans le vol des appareils cellulaires et ordinateurs portables et l’autre dans la vente des faux timbres fiscaux démantelés respectivement par la Direction de la Police Judiciaire (DPJ) et la Direction de la Police de la Ville de Niamey (DPVN).
1) Suite à une plainte pour vol d’un téléphone mobile de marque iphone X portée à la DPJ, les investigations ont permis d’interpeller le présumé auteur dudit vol.
L’intéressé a dénoncé un individu de nationalité nigériane, réparateur de téléphones portables, qui lui a décodé ledit portable moyennant la somme de quarante mille francs (40.000 CFA).
Les perquisitions effectuées au domicile et à la boutique du mis en cause ont permis de découvrir une dizaine d’ordinateurs portables d’origine douteuse et une quarantaine de téléphones portables dont l’exploitation a permis de retrouver neuf (09) portables de bonne qualité, déclarés volés dans des habitations, parfois avec violences ou à bord de taxi.
Notons que la DPJ invite les personnes victimes de vol d’ordinateurs et de téléphones portables à se présenter dans ses locaux pour identifier et éventuellement récupérer leurs appareils, sous présentation des pièces justificatives.
2) Suite une mise à disposition de cinq (05) personnes par le Service de la Police Judiciaire et Administrative (SPJA) de la DPVN pour affaire présumée de faux timbres fiscaux, nos investigations ont permis de découvrir qu’une des personnes interpellées dispose des timbres d’une valeur unitaire de cinq milles (5 000fcfa).
Aussi, ayant constaté que la demande de cette catégorie de timbre utilisée pour l’obtention d’un document administratif, est importante, l’intéressé a approché deux (02) revendeurs de timbres auxquels il a proposé de leur livrer la catégorie en fonction de leurs moyens. C’est ainsi qu’il a fourni une cinquantaine au premier et une dizaine au second.
D’après le fournisseur en question, il a acquis environ 150 timbres de cette catégorie avec une personne, qu’il n’est pas en mesure d’identifier, à une somme très négligeable. Depuis lors, il a déposé les timbres chez lui avant de les proposer aux revendeurs lorsqu’il a constaté que la demande est devenue forte ces derniers temps.
La provenance ainsi que la quantité exacte des timbres se trouvant avec le principal mis en cause n’ont pas encore été élucidées ; tout comme la différence par rapport au nombre qu’il reconnaît lui même acquis avec « l’inconnu ». Les investigations se poursuivent.
