Le conseil des Ministres de l’ABN tiendra du 7 au 8 décembre prochain sa réunion à N’Djamena au Tchad

L’autorité du Bassin du Niger (ABN) tiendra du 7 au 8 Décembre prochain à Ndjamena au Tchad, sa réunion du Conseil des Ministres.

C’est ce qui ressort d’une audience que le Président de la République Mohamed Bazoum a accordée, ce lundi 28 décembre 2022, au Secrétaire Exécutif de l’organisation, M. Abderahim Biremé Hamid.

« Je suis venu voir le Chef de l’Etat pour lui présenter la situation de L’ABN, sa vie d’ensemble et aussi l’évolution de l’ABN, qui a une charte de l’eau adoptée depuis 2008, et avec plusieurs annexes. Nous avons fini avec l’ensemble des annexes » a-t-il indiqué.

M. Hamid de souligner qu’il y aura « un conseil des ministres à Ndjamena le 7 et 8 décembre prochain où nous allons adopter les fiches de poste et aussi la procédure relative au recrutement d’un secrétaire exécutif ».

« Nous lui avons aussi présenté la situation du payement des contributions financières des États par rapport à la construction du siège » a-t-il poursuivi.

Actuellement, a expliqué le Secrétaire Exécutif de l’ABN, « nous avons réussi à mobiliser quelques 2,7 milliards de CFA. Donc nous sommes venu l’informer en tant que champion choisi par ses pairs dans le cadre de la construction du siège de l’ABN ».

Il a, enfin, indiqué avoir informé le Président de la République de « la situation avec des suggestions allant dans le sens de commencer les travaux de cette construction du siège de l’ABN ».

Notons que l’autorité du Bassin du Niger (ABN) est une organisation intergouvernementale chargée de promouvoir la coopération entre les États membres et de contribuer à l’amélioration des conditions de vie des populations du bassin par la gestion durable des ressources en eau et des écosystèmes associés.
