Le capitaine Clément, de l’Ecole du Train et de la Logistique Opérationnelle (ETLO) de Bourges a conduit une mission d’expertise de trois (3) semaines à Niamey allant du 14 août au 05 septembre 2019. Cette formation était au profit du bataillon de transport nigérien qui sort bénéficiaire des nouvelles expériences et tactiques de travail stratégiques fournies par l’expert français.
Cette mission n’est autre que la résultante de la coopération franco-nigérienne dans le domaine militaire qui poursuit trois objectifs : conseiller le bataillon sur la réalisation des programmes de formation du domaine de spécialité, créer et mettre en place des exercices « clés en main » mais également des dossiers de tests et d’évaluation.
Trois (3) semaines durant, le capitaine Clément a travaillé en totale collaboration avec un officier et des futurs instructeurs du bataillon nigérien. Une revue complète du programme ainsi que des travaux d’adaptation ont été réalisés dans le cadre de la préparation du stage CS1 (formation de spécialité pour les militaires du rang) qui devrait débuter en octobre.
En parallèle, différents documents ont été conjointement préparés, et ce dans le cadre du montage d’exercices « clés en main » : A l’issue dudit exercice, le bataillon de transport dispose désormais de trois exercices terrain incluant une situation tactique avec des ordres de niveau commandant d’unité, chefs de peloton et chefs d’escouades qui lui permettront de former dans les meilleures conditions les militaires du rang comme les sous-officiers. Enfin, les tests et évaluations ainsi que le rallye final du prochain CS1 ont été également mis en place, et ce pour l’intégralité des composantes de cette action de formation.
Au regard du travail réalisé, cette mission s’est révélée être une matérialisation de la coopération entre la France et le Niger.
