Le Syndicat National des Enseignants Chercheurs du Supérieur a lancé une grève d’un mois à compter d’hier lundi 20 janvier 2020.L’ojectif de cette grève est d’amener le Ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur et le gouvernement à respecter le protocole d’accord signé le 23 mai 2019.
Comme fut le cas pour l’année académique 2018-2019, celle de 2019-2020 n’échappera pas aux mouvements d’humeur des enseignants .Cette énième grève lancée par le Syndicat National des Enseignants Chercheurs du Supérieur est une piqûre de rappel aux autorités en charge de l’éducation afin qu’ils sachent que ces derniers n’ont pas oublié les promesses qui leurs ont été faites et les engagements pris par l’Exécutif le 29 mai 2019. Un protocole d’accord a été signé entre les deux parties le 23 mai 2019.
Par cet arrêt des activités universitaires, le SNECS entend mettre la pression en vue d’exiger le règlement de tous les droits statutaires des enseignants chercheurs et des universités publiques du Niger en souffrance depuis 2016. Selon le secrétaire général du SNECS, Dr Na-balla Adaré, de 2016 à aujourd’hui leur syndicat a déposé sept (7) préavis de grève et dix-sept (17) mots d’ordres sansaucune avancées notables dans les conditions de vie et de travail des enseignants nigériens. En attendant la réaction du Ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur M. Yahouza Sadissou, ce sont les amphithéâtres des universités publiques du Niger qui seront vides.
