La région de Tahoua abrite depuis hier mardi 21 janvier 2020 et ce, pour trois jours un forum sur le développement économique local et la Migration. La cérémonie d’ouverture des travaux a été présidée par le gouverneur de la région de Tahoua M. Moussa Abdourahamane en présence du président du Conseil de la ville, du président du Conseil régional, des autorités coutumières, du Recteur de l’Université, ainsi que des partenaires techniques et financiers.
Dans son discours, le gouverneur de la région de Tahoua a tenu à remercier tous les participants pour leur implication dans la tenue de cette grande rencontre. Elle consistera notamment en partages d’expériences en ce qui concerne le développement économique local. Cette assise portera en outre sur la question de la migration qui selon lui est d’actualité « cette approche est d’actualité aujourd’hui qu’hier elle contribue au renforcement des capacités des acteurs territoriaux et promouvoir le développement local participatif fondé sur la vision durable de valorisation optimale du potentiel du développement de la région » a souligné M. Moussa Abdourahamane.
Le Gouverneur de Diffa a aussi indiqué que l’objectif de cette rencontre est de rendre les acteurs de développement plus compétitifs et capable de dynamiser efficacement le processus de croissance économique de la région tout en prenant en compte les enjeux migratoires. Ce forum vise également à mettre en place des stratégies pour une croissance économique en adéquation avec le Plan de Développement Economique et Social (PDES) pour la promotion du développement local.
Au sortir de ce forum il est souhaité que des pistes de solutions soient proposées pour une croissance économique de la région et une réduction du taux de la migration à travers. Des nouvelles initiatives et recommandations seront faites par les différents acteurs.
