L’Assemblée Nationale du Niger a tenu le mardi 15 octobre sa deuxième session ordinaire dite session budgétaire au titre de l’année 2019 en présence des commissaires du gouvernement, M. Barkaï Issouf, ministre Chargé des Relations avec les Institutions et le ministre Directeur de cabinet du Président de la République, M. Ouhoumoudou Mahamadou : Cinq projets de loi étaient à l’ordre du jour, dont celui relatif à la modernisation de l’aéroport de Niamey et la construction de l’aéroport de Tillabéry.
Les travaux de construction du nouvel aéroport de Tillabéry et ceux de modernisation de celui de Niamey, peuvent de poursuivre en toute quiétude. Les députés ont donné leur aval ce mardi en adoptant le projet de loi y relatif. Il s’agit du texteportant ratification de l’ordonnance N°2019-18 du 20 septembre 2019 autorisant la ratification de l’accord de prêt référence: n°2019049/PR.NG 2019 2600 d’un montant global maximum de quatorze milliards francs CFA (14000000000 f CFA), signé le 23 août 2019 à Lomé au Togo, entre la République du Niger et la Banque Ouest Africaine de Développement (BOAD), pour le financement partiel du projet de modernisation de l’Aéroport de Niamey et de construction de l’Aéroport de Tillabéri. Ce projet a pour objet la construction de l’aéroport de Tillabéry pour accueillir tous les mouvements d’aéronefs non commerciaux et servir d’aéroport de relais. Il y a également les travaux portant sur la construction d’une piste d’atterrissage avec les aires de stationnement de l’aéroport. Son objectif global est de contribuer au développement du sous-secteur du transport aérien au Niger. Ce projet de loi a été adopté par 91 voix pour, zéro (0) contre et zéro (0) abstention.
Depuis son avènement au pouvoir, le président de la république Issoufou Mahamadou s’est inscrit dans une logique de modernisation de la capitale Niamey à travers son programme Niamey Nyala et aussi son ambition de redorer l’image des autres régions à travers la fête tournante de 18 décembre qui commémore la proclamation de la République du Niger dont la région de Tillabéry s’apprête à accueillir cette année.
Le programme dénommé Tillaberi Tchandalo, permettra de réceptionner un aéroport qui sera doté d’une piste de 2,100 km qui a atteint un taux de réalisation de 23% selon le premier ministre lors de sa visite sur les grands chantiers des différents travaux. Il s’agit notamment de la Villa présidentielle et du salon d’honneur qui connaissent chacun un taux d’exécution de 47%. La tribune officielle quant à elle sera réceptionnée en fin novembre prochain.
Après sa réalisation de l’aéroport de Niamey par la société turc SUMMA, Niamey la capitale nigérienne dispose de l’un des aéroports les plus modernes en Afrique de l’Ouest. Les travaux de modernisation se poursuivront donc avec l’adoption de ce projet de loi par les députés.
