Le ministre de la communication, des postes et de l’économie numérique, M Sidi Mohamed Raliou a présidé une rencontre avec les correspondants Internationaux accrédités au Niger. Cette rencontre a permis d’échanger sur les conditions d’exercice de leur profession.
Les discussions ont porté principalement sur l’alignement du métier des correspondants avec la vision du président du Conseil National pour la Sauvegarde de la Patrie( CNSP), axée sur la cohésion sociale, la sécurité du pays et la bonne gouvernance. Le ministre a saisi cette occasion pour interpeller « la conscience patriotique » de ces correspondants dans leur métier, en privilégiant l’intérêt du pays.
Les correspondants se sont quant à eux, réjouis de cette initiative avant d’exposer les difficultés qu’ils rencontrent dans l’exercice de leur métier, notamment en ce qui concerne la couverture des grands événements et l’accès aux personnes ressources pour des interviews.
Étaient présents à cette rencontre, le secrétaire général du Ministère, l’inspectrice générale des services, les conseillers techniques et plusieurs autres cadres du Ministère.
