Le Vice-président du Conseil de Ville de Niamey, M. Habiboulaye Gado a conduit le lundi 06 décembre en matinée une délégation de la société Al Buhaira Invest composée d’un bureau d’études spécialisé de Tunisie sur quatre sites du fleuve Niger. L’objectif visé à travers cette visite est d’élaborer des études d’opportunités en matière d’aménagement et de développement urbain afin de développer un projet similaire au projet Lac nord de Tunis sur les berges du fleuve Niger.
Le Directeur général de la Société Al Buhaira Invest, M. Mohamed Rida Trabelsi a indiqué que cette visite de la délégation Al Buhaira Invest fait suite à celle de la délégation nigérienne de la Ville de Niamey conduite par son président le député maire, M. Oumarou Dogari Moumouni en Tunisie. «Pendant leur séjour, nous avons signé un protocole pour contribuer au développement de la Ville de Niamey à l’image de la réussite du projet Lac nord de Tunis qui a été expérimenté et développé à Tunisie», a-t-il précisé.
Par ailleurs, M. Mohamed Rida Trabelsi a indiqué que la société Albuhaira Invest est une société Tuniso-saoudienne en charge du développement de lac de Tunis. «Le partenariat entre la Ville de Niamey et la ville de Tunis à travers la société Albuhaira Invest va apporter aux Nigériens un transfert d’expertise et de savoir-faire, de l’expérience en matière d’aménagement et de développement urbains», a-t-il affirmé.
Pour sa part, M. Habiboulaye Gado Vice président du Conseil de Ville de Niamey a remercié les autorités du Niger et toute l’équipe technique pour la visite des quatre sites potentiels qui vont faire l’objet d’études. «Je suis venu avec une délégation composée d’un bureau d’étude spécialisé tunisien afin de faire une étude sur les potentialités pour développer une nouvelle ville, la ‘’New Niamey’’», a-t-il indiqué.
