Le Président de la République, Chef de l’Etat, Mohamed Bazoum, a reçu mardi en fin d’après-midi 12 avril 2022, le Président du Conseil d’Orientation et de Contrôle de la Haute Autorité du WAQF, Dr. Hamid Algabit.
Dr. Hamid Algabit a fait le point, au Chef de l’Etat, de la mise en œuvre des chantiers du WAQF depuis deux ans et lui a fait part des perspectives pour les années à venir, a indiqué la Directrice Générale du WAQF, Mme Bana Khadijah Diallo, présente à l’audience.
L’année 2022 étant placée sous le thème de l’offensive pour la mobilisation des ressources, il est prévu l’organisation en fin d’année d’une Conférence Internationale sur les investissements WAQF en vue de mobiliser des ressources WAQF pour l’atteinte des objectifs de développement du Niger, a-t-elle précisé.
« Nous sommes venus informer le Président des activités actuelles et celles que nous comptons mener », a-t-elle indiqué, affirmant que « le Président de la République a réitéré tout son soutien à la Haute Autorité du WAQF et a rappelé que le Niger réunit tous les critères pour bénéficier des retombées du WAQF. »
