159 personnes sont mortes à la date du 18 septembre 2022 Selon un nouveau bilan de la Direction générale de la Protection Civile (DGPC) publié ce lundi 19 septembre 2022.
Selon la DGPC, 121 personnes parmi les mortes, sont tuées par effondrement tandis que les 38 autres sont mortes par noyade.
Toujours selon la source, la région de Maradi est celle qui a le plus été endeuillée avec 66 morts, suivie de la région de Zinder ayant enregistré 48 morts. Après ces deux régions, vient Dosso avec 18 morts enregistrés à cette date.
La DGPC a aussi enregistré à cette date, 225.39 sinistrés répertoriés et 26.724 ménages.
A cette occasion, le Colonel Major Bako Boubacar, Directeur général de la Protection civile a fait savoir que des pertes d’environ 686 animaux et 14,475 en vivres ont été enregistrées.
On note aussi une perte importante en infrastructures telles que, les murs, classes, cases, greniers, boutiques, pour ne citer que ceux-là.
