Après une révision du coût des prestations par les autorités saoudiennes, le Prix du Hadj 2023 est fixé au Niger à 3.258.733 FCFA au lieu de 3.603.840 FCFA, soit une baisse de 345.107 FCFA annoncé initialement.
Cette annonce a été faite par le Ministre du commerce Alkache Alhada lors d’une réunion d’information qu’il a présidée, ce lundi 03 avril 2023, en présence des responsables du COHO, des responsables des agences de voyage et des associations des consommateurs.
Le Ministre du commerce Alkache Alhada a tenu à rappeler « que les principales modifications et hausses qui ont été eu lieu à l’époque, étaient liées au fait que les autorités saoudiennes avaient augmenté les prestations à leur niveau».
« Ils ont par la suite saisi les autorités nigériennes en charge du Hadj notamment le COHO pour annoncer qu’ils révisaient de façon substantielle le coût de leurs prestations au niveau local », a ajouté le Ministre du commerce. C’est ainsi que les prestations qui étaient de 933.816 FCFA sont ramenés à 588.753 FCFA.
Un autre petit changement concerne aussi l’assurance pèlerin qui était à 29 rials est ramené à 28,75 rials.
Concernant les pèlerins qui ont commencé à verser (environ 5000 personnes), le Ministre du commerce a fait savoir que leurs reliquats de 345.107 FCFA seront remboursés. Notons également que le Ministre a signé l’arrêté 0028 du 03 avril 2023 modifiant et complétant l’arrêté 071 du 08 mars 2023, fixant ce prix plafond du hadj 2023.
