Le déplacement d’hommes politiques (président de la République, Premier ministre, personnalités) à Nioro, localité malienne située vers la frontière mauritanienne dans laquelle réside est quasiment obligatoire. C’est même un pèlerinage.
Par exemple, à peine nommé la semaine dernière ministre des Finances et de l’Économie, Abdoulaye Daffé a séché le lendemain une réunion à la primature pour se rendre chez le chérif de Nioro dont il est un fidèle. Objectif ? Solliciter ses bénédictions.
C’est le même chemin qu’a pris récemment une délégation des dix principaux chefs traditionnels du nord du Mali. La délégation a passé quatre jours sur place pour parler de retour de la paix au Mali, au moment où une crise politique s’est installée. Le chérif a promis de s’investir pour trouver une solution.
Pour y parvenir, au moment où l’opposition appelle à une manifestation la semaine prochaine, Bouyé Haïdara a invité à son tour à Nioro l’imam Mahmoud Dicko, dont il est le mentor.
