Le gouvernement nigérien a annoncé mardi qu’il venait d’adopter le plan de développement économique et social (PDES) pour la période 2022-2026 pour un coût global de 19.427,6 milliards de francs CFA (plus de 31 milliards de dollars).
« Le PDES 2022-2026 est la deuxième déclinaison quinquennale de la Stratégie de développement durable et de croissance inclusive Niger 2035 », a-t-il dit dans un communiqué.
Selon la même source, ce plan « vise à concrétiser les engagements du président de la République, contenus dans le Programme de renaissance Acte III « . En outre, le PDES 2022-2026 prend en compte « les engagements internationaux pris par le Niger et les effets des chocs exogènes extrêmes ».
Il s’articule autour de trois axes stratégiques, à savoir le développement du capital humain, l’inclusion et la solidarité; la consolidation de la gouvernance, de la paix et de la solidarité et, enfin, la transformation structurelle de l’économie.
