Une plainte a été déposée contre Guillaume Soro à Paris ce jeudi 7 mai. Elle émane des avocats de 6 personnes qui se sont constituées parties civiles et accusent l’ancien président de l’Assemblée nationale ivoirienne de « torture, assassinat et crimes de guerre » pour des faits commis lorsqu’il était le chef des Forces nouvelles entre 2003 et 2011.
Les plaignants, de nationalité ivoirienne et française, affirment que le désormais opposant en exil a « commandité la mort de 5 personnes » lors d’actes visant à asseoir son leadership sur le mouvement. Deux séries de faits sont contenus dans cette plainte.
Parmi les plaignants, il y a la fille d’IB. Ibrahim Coulibaly, tué le 27 avril 2011 à Abidjan, à peine plus de deux semaines après la victoire du camp Ouattara.
ce militaire de carrière, « général » autoproclamé, populaire et charismatique, venait de prendre une part active à la chute de Laurent Gbagbo à la tête du « commando invisible ».
Pour les parties civiles, ce sont les hommes des FRCI qui l’ont arrêté puis ont laissé son corps sans vie en pleine rue l’ont fait à l’initiative de Guillaume Soro, son rival, qui a monté la « traque » et un « guet-apens minutieusement préparé » contre IB pour se débarrasser d’un concurrent, mais aussi de son frère Soualio Coulibaly et d’Issiaka Timité.
L’autre épisode développé dans cette plainte date de juin 2004. Kassoum Bamba et Abdoulaye Doumbia sont deux fidèles d’IB. Le premier est exécuté après la prise du camp rebelle qu’il dirige à Bouaké, par des hommes de Guillaume Soro selon les plaignants. Le second, lui, a été identifié par l’ONU parmi une centaine de corps retrouvés dans un charnier à Korhogo, où quelques jours plus tôt, des affrontements avaient opposé deux factions des forces nouvelles, celle d’IB, et celle de Guillaume Soro, vainqueur de ce conflit fratricide.
Pour les plaignants, il n’y a aucun doute, Guillaume Soro a commandité ces violences, et fait assassiner son rival IB. Mais pourquoi déposer plainte aujourd’hui en France ? Maître Noémie Saidi-Cottier, une des avocates des parties civiles, assure que ce dossier n’est pas lié au calendrier électoral en Côte d’Ivoire, « cela fait des mois que nous travaillons dessus », précise l’avocate.
