Le 26 Juillet dernier, le Niger célébrait l’an 1 de l’accession au pouvoir du Conseil National pour la Sauvegarde de la Patrie (CNSP) à la faveur d’un coup d’état qui avait renversé l’ancien président Mohamed Bazoum. A cet effet, la Confédération Nigérienne du Travail CNT a tenu à présenter ce mardi 30 Juillet 2024, son appréciation des 12 mois de gestion du CNSP à travers une déclaration compartimentée en plusieurs axes portant notamment sur la sécurité, le social, le professionnel,
Sur le plan sécuritaire, la CNT félicite le CNSP pour les nombreuses décisions prises en relation notamment aux accords de défense et au retrait « de certains permis miniers et pétroliers aux compagnies pour non-respect des engagements ». La confédération salue également le courage des Forces de Défense, invite la population à une coopération franche dans la lutte contre le terrorisme et invite les « compatriotes ayant pris les armes de revenir à la raison ».
Le bilan social dressé par la CNT de l’an 1 du CNSP semble globalement positif en raison notamment de plusieurs mesures prises, félicitées et encouragées par la confédération. Il s’agit principalement des mesures liées à la baisse du prix des hydrocarbures à la pompe, de l’opération de vente du riz à prix modéré, les initiatives de règlement de la crise entre le Bénin et le Niger et le programme de grande irrigation lancé par le Président de la République. En revanche, la confédération déplore « la mise à l’écart des centrales syndicales sur l’arrêté portant composition des conseils consultatifs régionaux et communaux », mais aussi la persistance dans l’administration publique de certaines « pratiques combattues pendant la gestion du régime déchu » comme la culture de la médiocrité, le népotisme, le clanisme et bien d’autres. Le manque de coordination entre les ministères du travail et des finances a également été abordé relativement au traitement des dossiers des retraités.
Sur le plan professionnel, tout en félicitant le CNSP pour les avancées significatives observées dans les efforts d’atteinte à la souveraineté nationale, la CNT pointe néanmoins du doigts et fustige de nombreux manquements de l’actuelle ministre du travail dans la gestion de certains dossiers clés. Plusieurs exigences ont été adressées à cette dernière dans ce sens. Les situations des agents des compagnies de transfert d’argent, de l’hôpital de référence, du Barrage de Kandadji et autres victimes de « licenciement abusifs » ont également été mentionnées avec plusieurs propositions allant dans le sens du règlement des nombreux problèmes en cours actuellement sur le plan professionnel.
