Les autorités sanitaires nigériennes ont, comme à l’accoutumée depuis le premier cas de Coronavirus dans le pays, fait le point de la situation face à la propagation du virus. Ce dimanche avec 38 nouveaux cas de contaminations, le pays a franchi le cap des 500 cas se positionnant désormais dans le top 10 des pays les plus infectés du continent. Dans ce sombre tableau, il y a néanmoins une éclaircie avec nombre de remissions qui lui aussi connait une hausse avec désormais 75 guéris.

COMMUNIQUÉ DU 12/04/2020
Les examens virologiques dont les résultats sont parvenus ce jour 12 avril 2020 se présentent comme suit :
- 38 Nouveaux cas positifs sur 134 testés au COVID-19 dont :
- 14 cas de sexe féminin ;
- 24cas de sexe masculin ;
- Tous les 38 cas positifs sont de la région de Niamey ;
- Un décès a été enregistré ;
A ce jour, sur 2.041 testés 529 patients ont été déclarés positifs au COVID-19 parmi lesquels :
- 442 en cours de traitement ;
- 75 sont sortis guéris ;
- 12 décès.
L’état de santé des patients pris en charge est stable.
Le gouvernement rappelle qu’en cas d’apparition de fièvre, toux, rhume, difficultés respiratoires chez toute personne sans distinction, cinq (5) mesures sont à prendre :
- Eviter tout contact avec l’entourage ;
- Porter votre masque ;
- Eviter de toucher la bouche, les yeux, le nez ;
- Rester chez vous et téléphoner gratuitement au 15
- Eviter de voyager.
