Le Ministre de la Communication des Postes et de l’Économie Numérique Sidi Mohamed Raliou, a présidé le vendredi 1er novembre dernier, la signature d’un mémorandum d’accord avec la société Russe Glavkosmos. Cette signature entre dans le cadre de l’acquisition et du déploiement de trois satellites de télédétection et d’un radar destiné à renforcer la sécurité nationale.
Dans son allocution le ministre a rappelé avoir participé du 23 au 24 septembre dernier à une réunion regroupant les trois pays membres de l’AES et la société russe spécialisée dans le déploiement de satellites à hautes altitudes à Bamako au Mali.
Il a souligné l’importance de ce projet pour assurer la souveraineté du Niger et de ses voisins en précisant que : « nous nous sommes entendus avec la société russe pour une durée de 4 ans >>. Par ailleurs ce projet s’articule sur trois points notamment la signature, la formation de toutes les équipes qui prendront en charge la gestion de ces équipements et la fabrication des satellites en Russie.
Étaient présents à cette cérémonie de signature, le directeur de la HAPDCP, le directeur du conseil de régulation de la communication électronique de la poste, les directeurs généraux de l’ARCEP et de I’ANSI et plusieurs cadres du ministère de la communication des postes et de l’économie numérique.
