Cette annonce a été faite, le mercredi 4 août 2021, par Monsieur Seidnaly Sidahmed Alphadi, promoteur du festival de la mode africaine (FIMA) et Ambassadeur de l’UNESCO pour la paix, au sortir d’une entrevue avec le Premier Ministre Ouhoumoudou Mahamadou.
‘’Je suis venu rencontrer le premier ministre pour le féliciter d’abord pour sa nomination, et je prépare la construction de la première Ecole Supérieure de la Mode et des Arts au Niger pour laquelle la pose de la 1ére pierre a été faite par Brigi Rafini en novembre dernier’’ a déclaré à la presse à sa sortie d’audience, le styliste nigérien Alphadi.
Pour Alphadi, ‘’cette école est une école panafricaine qui doit amener l’Afrique loin et c’est également une école de référence où les jeunes peuvent absolument étudier pour comprendre l’art et en même temps pour lutter contre la pauvreté’’.
Le promoteur du festival de la mode africaine (FIMA), M. Aphadi de faire savoir qu’il prépare ‘’la 13ème édition du FIMA qui va se tenir à Niamey, et qui est un festival que tout le monde connait aujourd’hui et qui amène l’Afrique très loin par rapport à la mode et ça aura lieu du 1er au 5 décembre prochain à Niamey’’.
‘’Le combat que nous menons avec le gouvernement, c’est de donner une dimension à ce que le Niger puisse profiter de ce festival qui est parti dans plusieurs pays mais qui reste toujours nigérien’’ a conclu le promoteur du FIMA.
