Le Premier Ministre, Ouhoumoudou Mahamadou a rencontré, ce mercredi 7 juillet 2021 à son cabinet, les représentants des centrales syndicales du Niger.
L’objectif de cette rencontre est de discuter du processus de révision du statut général de la fonction publique de l’Etat et aussi de diverses questions de l’heure.
Face à la presse, à la fin de cette rencontre, le Secrétaire Général de la Confédération Démocratique des Travailleurs du Niger (CDTN), M. Idrissa Djibrilla a déclaré qu’au cours de cette réunion avec le Chef du gouvernement, ils ont parlé de ‘’la révision du statut général de la fonction publique et de la procédure qui aurait dû être une procédure participative qui prend en compte les préoccupations des organisations syndicales’’.
‘’Nous avons dit au Premier Ministre tout ce que nous avions déjà évoqué dans la déclaration du 21 juin 2021’’ a-t-il indiqué avant de préciser qu’ils ont eu ‘’une longue discussion avec le Chef du gouvernement et en terme de synthèse, le Premier Ministre a dit que nous avons tout à fait raison de nous préoccuper de la révision de cette loi dont la procédure doit être aussi une procédure ouverte et participative’’.
M. Idrissa Djibrilla de faire savoir que ‘’le Premier Ministre a pris l’engagement de créer un cadre, sous forme d’atelier, afin que les organisations syndicales se retrouvent avec le consultant qui a été recruté à ce effet, pour que nous puissions apporter nos observations, savoir les motivations pour lesquelles cette révision a été engagée et aussi pour que nous puissions apporter nos propositions en terme de modification des différentes dispositions du statut général de la fonction publique’’.
En ce qui concerne les questions diverses, le Secrétaire Général de la CDTN a indiqué qu’ils ont évoqué avec le Premier Ministre ‘’la reprise des négociations avec le comité interministériel’’ tout en rappelant que’’ depuis qu’ils ont transmis leurs cahiers de doléances, le 1er mai, il n’y a pas eu de discussions avec les partenaires sociaux’’.
‘’Des engagements ont été pris pour créer les conditions pour une reprise des discussions avec le comité interministériel, de même qu’au niveau du processus de révision du statut général de la fonction publique. Nous souhaitons que ces engagements soient tenus’’ a conclu le Secrétaire Général de la Confédération Démocratique des Travailleurs du Niger.
