L’Auditorium Sani Bako de Niamey a accueilli, le mercredi 21 octobre 2020 une conférence-débat sur la « Francophonie de l’avenir ». Cette activité organisée par le Ministère des Affaires Etrangères, de la Coopération, de l’Intégration et des Nigériens à l’Extérieur en collaboration avec la Commission Nationale de la Francophonie du Niger entre dans le cadre de la célébration du cinquantenaire de l’Agence de la Coopération Culturelle et Technique (ACCT), ancêtre de l’Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF).
Créée le 20 mars 1970 à Niamey par le concours des présidents du Sénégal, Léopold Sédar Senghor, du Niger, Diori Hamani, du Cambodge, le Prince Sihanouk et de la Tunisie, Habib Bourguiba, l’Agence de la Coopération Culturelle et Technique (ACCT), actuel OIF, célèbre ses 50 années d’existence. Prévue en Mars dernier, cette commémoration a dû être reportée en raison de la pandémie de la covid-19
C’est à travers une conférence-débat à laquelle a participé la Secrétaire Générale du Ministère des Affaires Etrangères, Mme Diallo Amina Djibo, et animée par l’ancien Secrétaire Général de la Commission Nationale de la Francophonie, M. Illo Adani, et l’ancien Directeur Europe au Ministère des Affaires Etrangères, Pr Alou Tidjani Mahamane, que le cinquantenaire de l’OIF a été célébré au Niger.
Dans son allocution de circonstance, la Secrétaire Générale de la Commission Nationale de la Francophonie, Mme Sidikou Ramatou a souligné que: « Cette année 2020, marque les cinquante années de la naissance de la Francophonie, c’est une occasion de constater que la richesse du mouvement francophone a permis d’identifier les enjeux majeurs auxquels l’humanité se trouve confrontée ».
« L’objectif de cette conférence-débat est de chercher, de trouver et de proposer des pistes pour consolider les acquis de l’Organisation et les voies de la construction de son avenir, en restant fidèle au passé ; construire le présent et imaginer le futur à la lumière des idéaux à nous légués par nos Pères fondateurs » a souligné Mme Sidikou Ramatou.
Après la projection d’un film documentaire sur la Francophonie aux élèves venus des écoles Alliance, Olinga et du Campus Numérique Francophone de Niamey, place aux échanges entre les animateurs et les panélistes.
Mme Sidikou Ramatou, a estimé que : «le thème de cette conférence-débat sur « La Francophonie de l’Avenir » est un sujet dont l’intérêt appelle à plus d’attention pour les jeunes concernés, mais aussi pour les analystes de la scène internationale en tant que Diplomates et Francophones ».
Notons que La conférence-débat de ce mercredi 21 octobre 2020 qui a occasionné de fructueuses interventions de jeunes panélistes, s’est déroulée en présence des représentants du Ministère de la Renaissance Culturelle, du Ministère de la Jeunesse et des Sports, de la Consule Honoraire du Canada au Niger, et de plusieurs autres invités.
