Le Président de la République Issoufou Mahamadou a inauguré ce jour, 15 octobre 2020 à Niamey, une tour moderne de grand standing qui abrite désormais les administrations financières et fiscales du Niger. Cet immeuble dont les travaux ont été lancés le 14 février 2019, et dont le maître d’ouvrage est la société turque SUMMA, est le fruit d’un financement de l’Etat du Niger pour un coût global d’environ 25 milliards de francs CFA.
Situé en plein centre-ville de la capitale nigérienne, c’est un immeuble de 75 mètres composé de 17 étages, d’un restaurant, d’une salle de sport et d’un parking d’une capacité de plus de 90 véhicules, qui abritera désormais les cadres des régies financières du ministère des finances du Niger. La société SUMMA, chargée de la construction démontre sa capacité en ajoutant cette toute nouvelle construction à ses nombreuses réalisations au Niger. Malgré la crise sanitaire mondiale : la covid-19, la société a continué les travaux de construction du joyau. Cette réalisation vient à point nommé pour le ministère des finances qui visent des nouveaux objectifs.
Dans son allocution, le Président de la République Issoufou Mahamadou a souligné que cet immeuble a un double objectif. Celui de donner un cadre de travail optimal aux agents des régies financières du ministère des finances et celui de la modernisation de la ville de Niamey. « Cette réalisation rejoint les infrastructures déjà construites qui sont inscrits dans le programme de la renaissance pour moderniser notre capitale. Elle a un double objectif : donner un cadre optimal aux agents des régies financières du Niger et contribuer à la modernisation de la capitale Niamey.
