Selon le ministre, la première tonne de ciment est sortie le vendredi 28 décembre 2018 à l’usine dont la capacité de production annuelle est de plus de 650.000 tonnes, notant que compte tenu de sa proximité des différents marchés, la société Malbaza Ciment Campany, va couvrir désormais 80% du marché domestique, ce qui va réduire les importations massives de ce produit.
‘’Le passage à la phase opérationnelle de cette usine industrielle a été rendu possible grâce aux efforts des autorités de la 7ème République, et à ceux des investisseurs nigériens qui ont relevé tous les défis Financiers, Technologiques, et Humains inhérents à un tel projet ‘’, a expliqué le ministre Zaneidou.
