L’ONG FAD « Femmes, Actions et Développement » Niger a conduit, le jeudi 24 décembre 2020 et vendredi 25 décembre, la formation de ses observatrices des élections législatives et présidentielles de 2020 au Niger. « Impliquer les femmes dans tout le processus électoral et surtout d’étudier le taux d’intégration des femmes dans les différentes phases électorales » constitue l’objectif principale de cette mission.
Cette formation bénéficie à un total de 53 observatrices qui seront déployées dans les 8 régions du Niger. La mission de FAD ambitionne, avec des indicateurs précis « d’émettre à l’issue de ces observations des recommandations qui auront pour but d’améliorer le taux de participation des femmes dans les prochains processus électoraux ».
