Le Chef d’Etat Nigérien effectue ce jeudi une visite d’amitié et de travail au Nigeria. Depuis le 20 août dernier, le Nigeria a fermé provisoirement et partiellement plusieurs points de passage frontalier avec le Niger. Le Bénin, l’autre voisin du pays de Buhari est concerné par cette mesure. Les répercussions sur les économies de ces deux pays, qui dépendent en grande partie des exportations vers le géant africain, se sont aussitôt fait ressentir. Grâce à la stratégie du gouvernement fédéral, les importations de riz ont baissé de 95% en deux ans et le nombre de producteur est passé de 5 à 30 millions sur la même période. Aussi, il n’est pas question de permettre ce qu’il considère comme le sabotage de son économie. Il en sera donc questions lors des discussions entre Buhari et Issoufou ce jeudi.
